Fiddle the Gold Fish - By Yesha

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a narrative story.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can use capital letters, full stops and correct spelling, and write in paragraph form correctly.

Fiddle the gold fish was small. She had thick scales. She was a fish eater. Fiddle had sharp teeth.

One day Fiddle swam up on a fish, she didn't know that the fish was hooked on a fishing rod. Fiddle tried to eat the fish but it was  stuck on the hook. The fisherman felt something unusual and pulled the string up, a gold fish came up.

The fisherman felt bad for the gold fish so he quickly took her to a place that look after sea creatures.

The keepers of the aquarium check her and took good care of her, they gave her a beautiful name. It was Fiddle. They called her fiddle, because she fiddles around with her tail. The keepers thanked the fisherman for bringing the gold fish to them. Fiddle's wonderful life had just begun.

Glaring Bear - By Yesha

Learning Intention: We are learning to to write a narrative story.
Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can write a narrative story using capital letters, full stops and paragraph correctly.

Once there was a gigantic bear. She had a thick fur. She was a fish eater with massive sharp teeth that can crunch fish bones.

One day she saw an enormous fish, but it swam away when it saw her. She tried to catch it, but she fell in the water she hit her head on the rock and she fainted.

Luckily a hunter walked by the river and found the drowning bear. He rescued her and quickly took her to the zoo.

The zookeepers check and took good care of her. They gave her a beautiful name. It was Glaring bear. They call her Glaring bear, because she glares at the zookeepers. The zookeepers thank the hunter for bringing the poor bear to them. Glare's wonderful life had begun and she live happily ever after.
