Wonderful Creatures - By Yesha

In New Zealand, they have many astonishing animals. One of the most special animals was the kiwi bird. A kiwi is a bird that doesn't have any wings and can not fly. The Author the Harry Potter books called " J.K Rowling " had written a new book about curious or incredible creatures called the " Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them ".

If I have a beast I will call her " Evil Moonlight ", because she is evil and at night her spectacular fur shines like the moon. Evil Moonlight has white smooth fur that glows in the dark, sharp white teeth, evil devil wings, shiny red eyes and dark black magic. Evil Moonlight will look like a beautiful beast girl. She smells like cotton candy. She sounds like she is bored and roars like a tiger.

The Legend of the North Island of New Zealand - By Yesha

Conforming to the Maori Mythology, the Aotearoa New Zealand was formed by a powerful demigod called " Maui ". One day, he went out in the middle of the ocean to fish, he used his magical fish hook. It was made out of his grandma's jaw bone. At the sea, Maui threw his Magical fish hook, he waited for a few minutes. Suddenly, the boat was shaking and Maui knew he caught a fish, so he pulled his hook really hard to get the fish. The fish was so heavy that his hook nearly broke. But he caught it. The fish was actually the North Island of New Zealand. In hunt of the legend of the North Island of New Zealand is sometimes offered to as Te Ika a Māui and ‘Māui’s fish’ and the South Island of New Zealand is sometimes offered to as Te Waka a Māui and ‘Māui’s canoe’.

The Meaning Behind Christmas Decorations - By Yesha

Learning Intention: We are learning the meanings of some Christmas decorations.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can read and understand the meanings behind of some Christmas Decorations.

(Wreath) Just as there is no end to the wreath, God's love never ends.
(Christmas Tree) Evergreen trees stay green all year. They remind us that we can live forever with Jesus.
(Candy Cane) The candy cane is like the shapes of a shepherd's staff. A shepherd uses his staff to guide his sheep. The candy cane reminds us that Jesus is our guide as we follow Him.
(Lights and Stars) The lights and stars reminds us of the star the wise men followed to find Jesus. In the Bible, Jesus called Himself, " The light of the world."
(Gifts) Gifts remind us of the greatest gift ever given - God's gift of His Son, Jesus. Gifts also can remind us of the presents the wise men gave Jesus.
(Pointed Holly Leaves) The pointed holly leaves remind us of the crown of thorns Jesus wore as He hung on the cross. The red berries reminds us of His blood.
(Bell) Each sheep in a shepherd's  fold wore a bell so the shepherd could tell where it was, if the sheep wandered off. The bells remind us Jesus knows where we are and wants to save us.

A Visit to the Stone Cottage - By Yesha

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a recount.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can write an recount about the Stone Cottage using adjectives.

Do you know how to use an old clothes ringer?

We went to the stone cottage. Inside I met Mr. Chris and he works there.
An old clothes ringer is used by womens of the Fencibles to wash their clothes. To make it work there is a handle that you can turn around it, then the two rollers made out of iron will spin and squishes the water off the clothes. The bucket catches water, and they use these water again to water their plants.

I saw so many things, but I can only mention two and explain about it. I saw an old chest. It is so big that you can hid your dog in. I also saw a lamp, it does not work with electricity instead they light it up with fire.
